Flotex is suitable for any class of building including patient care areas of Class 9A & Class 3 buildings lift cars and fire isolated exits, ramps and stairs. Suitable for continuous use under castors and with a Slip Resistance AS/NZ 4586 -1999 of Class R11, makes it an ideal commercial floor covering.
Every square metre is packed with an astounding 66 million straight, upright, nylon fibres with no loops or twists to trap stains. Anti Microbial Resistance
Flotex offers inherent resistance of textiles to fungal growth under AS 1157.4 – 1978 when tested without treatments of any kind because of its unique construction and material used. The test result is zero growth.
Thanks to a highly effective active antimicrobial treatment called Sanitized Flotex offers consistent protection against bacteria including MRSA, E.coli, moulds such as athlete's foot fungi and stale odour development. Sanitized migrates from the backing into the fibre zone consistently during the lifetime of the floor covering, resulting in a cleaner and healthier environment. Waterproof Flotex can be washed and scrubbed just like standard vinyl and is the only textile floor covering that has both impervious pile fibres and an impermeable backing in combination.
